The SGIMFA at Heerstraße 5 has everything to offer when it comes to hosting masterclasses and music festivals. The teaching will take place in the main chamber music room on the ground floor which can seat an audience of more than 50, as well as in a smaller lounge with a grand piano on the first floor. The chamber music hall boasts of an 1875 Ehrbar Grand Piano with an authentic Viennese action. This was the type of piano that Johannes Brahms used to compose and perform on during the late 19th century. There are five other rooms with practice pianos as well as a grand piano in the village church which is a 5-minute walk away. On the top two floors there are five double and one single bedroom in which participants can stay. There is also a fully equipped kitchen where meals can be prepared.
