Sandra Canzonetti

Biography

Sandra Canzonetti studied piano and singing at the Vanoni Study Centre in Terni, where she was a member of the “Coro Musica Antiqua”. She graduated from the Morlacchi Conservatory in Perugia where she studied choir conducting with Massimo Gualtieri. From 1997 – 2002 she was the director of the “Coro La Fenice ” in Casperia. She took part in various masterclasses, seminars and lectures on sacred polyphony of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, as well as on Gregorian chant, held by Domenico Bartolucci, Giacomo Baroffio, and Alberto Turco. Since 1990, Sandra is the director of “Coro Castrum Novum” in Castelnuovo di Farfa where she also organises and oversees the choral singing review “Songs of Friendship”.

Giorgia Ginevoli

Biography

Giorgia Ginevoli graduated with top honours from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory under the guidance of Ivo Meccoli. She participated in masterclasses and workshops with famous music pedagogues such as Calogero Palermo, Gaetano Falzarano and Wenzel Fuchs. In 2016 she was selected by the Tauron Silver Orchestra to compose and record the soundtrack of the film “Mila” by Cinzia Angelini. Giorgia won an audition which enabled her to collaborate with the Belcanto Orchestra and Luciano Pavarotti, which toured extensively with performances in prestigious European theatres such as the Chatelet Theatre in Paris, Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, and Léman in Geneva, to name just a few. As clarinettist, she regularly performs with various orchestras around Italy. The most recent musical project was at the Menotti Arts Festival where she took part in the performance of Menotti’s “The Telephone”. For several years now, Giorgia has been affiliated with the state middle school where she teaches clarinet.
